Best On Air Commentary Team

If your radio station carries live commentary for any sporting event, from horse racing to hockey, from athletics to football, then this award is for you.

Entries should consist of not more than 1,000 words to 'sell your entry', outlining main achievements, target audience together with relevant audience statistics. Submitted audio should consist of a compilation of extracts from a range of broadcasts. You may edit material for time purposes but not ‘doctor’ material i.e. you are not allowed to edit out mistakes. Otherwise, extracts must be ‘as-aired’. Please provide a brief ‘running order’ or ‘track listing’ with all submitted audio.

Total duration of submitted audio should not exceed 15 minutes.

All audio must be in mp3 format only – stereo or mono, no more than 44.1 KhZ/16 bits/160 kbps.
